Victor grows increasingly violent and uncontrolled as time passes, and, during the Vietnam War loses it completely attempting to rape a young woman and then brutally attacking the soldiers who try to stop him, leading to both he and Logan being placed in front of a firing squad. They survive the firing squad, of course, and thus are invited to join Major Stryker's all-mutant team. Wolverine leaves the team and Victor when he witnesses Stryker's willingness to kill innocent civilians, and Victor's acceptance of this. Wolverine settles down as a lumberjack and meets the love of his life. Wolverine and Silverfox lived together for a few years until Stryker came calling. Soon after Logan believes Silverfox has been killed by Victor. Because of this Logan agrees to have adamantium bonded to his skeleton so he can kill Victor. With the help of Dukes, Wraith, and Gambit, Logan travels to three mile island to kill Victor and Stryker. He discovers Silverfox is in fact alive and she was just a puppet for Stryker's use. Despite the animosity between the two of them - Victor and Logan fight together to defeat Weapon XI, Victor claiming that only he gets to kill Wolverine, subsequently departing the battle. After 'killing' Weapon XI Logan is shot in the head by Stryker with adamantium bullets that cause such great brain trauma, Wolverine loses his memories. He leaves the Island with no memory of who and what he is. He's spent the time since living on the edge of civilized society, rarely venturing out of northern Canadian. Name Etymology:: Logan - Scots Gaelic. 'Little Hollow' Extra:: All of Wolverine's bones are covered with adamantium, which is virtually indestructible. Thus the metal cling if you hit him too hard.
